In August Tim and Trisha were invited to Finland to attend a life-time achievement award presentation to Professor Kauko Mäkinen for his original research starting in the 1970’s on the effects of xylitol in the oral cavity. This also involved a tour of Turku Dental School and Turku University Hospital.
